The Chairman began by giving an overview of the legislation. He and representatives of NFA then discussed implementation of Dodd-Frank provisions regarding swap dealers, commodity trading advisors, and commodity pool operators as well as regulatory and activities currently done by NFA under delegation from the Commission. They also discussed CFTC and NFA cooporation in implementing Dodd-Frank.
