Melissa Benedict is Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission. She handles Chairman Heath Tarbert’s scheduling, correspondence, and other critical support needs.
Before joining the CFTC, Ms. Benedict served as a legal assistant to the managing partner of the Washington, D.C. office of Allen & Overy LLP. She has also previously served as a legal assistant at the World Bank Group and as a legal research associate at the Public International Law and Policy Group.
