ACTION: Notice of availability of the terms and conditions of proposed commodity futures and option contracts. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: Futurecom, an electronic commodities exchange, has applied for designations as a contract market in technology stock index futures and option contracts. Futurecom has not been approved previously by the Commission as a contract market in any commodity. In connection with its application for designation as a contract market in live cattle futures and option contracts, which are pending at the Commission, Futurecom requested approval of trading rules and rules of government that it had submitted to meet the requirements for a board of trade seeking designations as a contract market. The Director of the Division of Economic Analysis (Division) of the Commission, acting pursuant to the authority by Commission Regulation 140.96, has determined that publication of the proposals for comment is in the public interest, will assist the Commission in considering the views of interested persons, and is consistent with the purpose of the Commodity Exchange Act.
