WASHINGTON -- The Commodity Futures Trading Commission's (CFTC) open meeting scheduled for Monday, October 30, 2000, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, November 1, 2000, 1:00 p.m. Hearing Room 1000 (Lobby Level), Three Lafayette Centre, 1155 21^st Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. The agenda remains the same…specifically, the Commission will consider:

• Final rules for a regulatory framework for Multilateral Transaction Execution Facilities, Intermediaries and Clearing Organizations;

• Final rules relating to Intermediaries of Commodity Interest Transactions;

• Final rules for a New Regulatory Framework for Clearing Organizations; and,

• Final rules on the Exemption for Bilateral Transactions.
