CFTC and SEC Extend Comment Period for Jointly Proposed Rules

WASHINGTON -- The Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission have determined to extend the comment period for the jointly proposed rules regarding the Method for Determining Market Capitalization and Dollar Value of Average Daily Trading Volume and Application of the Definition of Narrow-Based Security Index until July 11, 2001.
