CFTC'S TECHNOLOGY ADVISORY COMMITTEE SUBCOMMITTEES RELEASE INTERIM REPORTS

Washington, D.C. -- The Commodity Futures Trading Commission's Technology Advisory Committee will meet on Tuesday, November 27, 2001, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, 230 South LaSalle Street, Chicago, Illinois. The agenda for the meeting includes a discussion of interim reports prepared by members of the Committee's subcommittees.

Two subcommittee reports are available for review prior to the Committee meeting:

• Standardization Subcommittee Interim Report: Recommendations for Standardization of Protocol and Content of Order Flow Data; and
• Market Access Subcommittee Interim Report: Best Practices for Organized Electronic Markets.
