CFTC's FUTURES AND OPTIONS COMBINED COMMITMENTS OF TRADERS REPORT NOW AVAILABLE WEEKLY

Washington, D.C. -- The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced today that its Futures and Options Combined Commitments of Traders (COT) report will be released weekly on Fridays at 3:30 p.m. Washington, D.C. time beginning January 18, 2002. Currently, this report is released biweekly on Monday afternoons. There will be no change in the release schedule for the Futures Only COT report. It will continue to be released weekly on Fridays at 3:30 p.m. Washington, D.C. time. Both reports will remain available through the CFTC's Home Page on the Internet. The COT's Internet URL address is: http://www.cftc.gov/MarketReports/CommitmentsofTraders/index.htm
