CFTC Appoints Richard E. Collier to be Central Regional Office Coordinator
Washington, D.C.—The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced today the appointment of Richard E. Collier to serve as the regional coordinator for its Central Regional Office, effective immediately. Currently, Richard is Supervisory Auditor in the Central Regional Office of the Division of Clearing and Intermediary Oversight and he will continue in that role.
In announcing this appointment, CFTC Chairman James E. Newsome said: “I am confident that the knowledge and experience that Richard has acquired during his 32 years of service at the CFTC and its predecessor, the Commodity Exchange Authority, will benefit all employees of the Chicago Regional Office as he undertakes these new collateral duties.”
