CFTC to Hold Open Meeting on February 4, 2004, to Consider the Application of the U.S. Futures Exchange, LLC, for Contract Market Designation

Washington, D.C. -- The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) will hold an open meeting beginning at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, February 4, 2004, to consider the application of the U.S. Futures Exchange, LLC (EUREX US), for contract market designation. The meeting will be held in the Commission’s Washington, D.C. headquarters, Three Lafayette Centre, 1155 21^st Street, N.W., in the first-floor hearing room.

Information regarding EUREX US’s application, including information that the Commission has received since the close of the extended comment period, is available on the Commission’s website at www.cftc.gov.
