CFTC Notifies the Chicago Mercantile Exchange
Clearing House of the Results of Its Review of the CME Clearing
House's Compliance with the Commission's Segregation and
Related Recordkeeping Rules
Washington -- The Commodity Futures Trading Commission's
(Commission) Division of Trading and Markets (Division) has notified
the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) of the results of the CME
clearing house's compliance with the requirements of the Commodity
Exchange Act (CEAct), Commission regulations and Division
interpretations regarding the segregation of customers' money,
securities and property, and the related recordkeeping rules. The
report states that the Division found that the CME is in compliance
with all applicable Commission segregation-related requirements.
