CFTC EXTENDS COMMENT PERIOD FOR PROPOSED RULES
CONCERNING ACCESS TO AUTOMATED BOARDS OF TRADE
WASHINGTON -- The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced
today that it has extended until April 30, 1999, the comment period for the
proposed rules concerning access to automated boards of trade. The
Commission published the proposed rules on March 24, 1999 (64
Fed. Reg. 14159), with comments due originally by April 23,
1999.
Any person interested in submitting comments on the proposed rules should
submit them by April 30, 1999, to Jean A. Webb, Secretary,
Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Three Lafayette Centre, 1155
21st Street, N.W., Washington, D.C., 20581. In addition,
