CFTC ANNOUNCES ROUNDTABLE TO DISCUSS REGULATION OF EXCHANGE-TRADED DERIVATIVES

Washington, D.C. ­ The Commodity Futures Trading Commission today announced that it will hold a Roundtable meeting to discuss regulation of exchange-traded derivatives on Thursday, December 2 1999, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The Roundtable will be held in the first floor Hearing Room at the Commission's Washington office, Three Lafayette Center, 1155 21^st Street, Washington, D.C., 20581.

The Roundtable discussion will be chaired by CFTC Chairman William J. Rainer. A list of Roundtable participants will be available next week from the Commission's Office of Public Affairs.
