CFTC’s Office of External Affairs Hosts London Metropolitan University Student and Faculty Delegation

Students and Faculty from the London Metropolitan University's MSc Financial Regulation and Compliance Management Program Visit the CFTC's Washington Headquarters


On January 23, 2007, the CFTC's Office of External Affairs hosted a briefing session for a delegation of students and faculty from the London Metropolitan University's MSc Financial Regulation and Compliance Management Program.

CFTC Chairman Reuben Jeffery III met with the delegation. Also participating in the CFTC meeting were: Charley Cooper, Chief of Staff, Chief Operating Officer, Office of the Chairman; Phyllis Cela, Chief Counsel, Division of Enforcement; Steven Benton, Industry Economist, Division of Market Oversight; Lawrence Patent, Deputy Director, Compliance and Registration Section, Division of Clearing and Intermediary Oversight; and Douglass Leslie, Senior Counsel, Office of External Affairs.
