CFTC to Hold an Open Commission Meeting on April 14

Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chairman Heath P. Tarbert announced that the postponed March 31, 2020 open meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. (EDT). The meeting will be held via conference call in accordance with the agency’s implementation of social distancing due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

The Commission will consider the following:

  • Proposed Rule: Amendments to Part 190 Bankruptcy Regulations
  • Proposed Rule: Amendments to Compliance Requirements for Commodity Pool Operators on Form CPO-PQR
  • Proposed Rule: Amendments to Part 50 Clearing Requirements for Central Banks, Sovereigns, IFIs, Bank Holding Companies, and CDFIs
  • Final Rule: Amendments to Part 23 Margin Requirements for the European Stability Mechanism
  • Final Rule: Amendment to Part 160 Consumer Financial Information Privacy Regulation
  • Administration Commission Rulemaking Comment Periods
