CFTC’s Market Risk Advisory Committee to Meet on June 2, 2015
Washington, DC — The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s (CFTC) Market Risk Advisory Committee (MRAC) will hold a public meeting on June 2, 2015 at CFTC’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.
CFTC Commissioner Sharon Bowen is the sponsor of this Advisory Committee.
The MRAC will discuss issues related to: (1) the appropriate industry response to current and potential cybersecurity threats; and (2) the concentration of Futures Commission Merchants, and its effect on, and other factors currently affecting, market liquidity.
The meeting is open to the public with seating on a first-come, first-served basis. Members of the public may also listen to the meeting via conference call using a domestic toll-free telephone or international toll or toll-free number to connect to a live, listen-only audio feed.
