CFTC’s Energy and Environmental Markets Advisory Committee to Meet on February 26, 2015
Washington, DC — The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (Commission) announced today that the Energy and Environmental Markets Advisory Committee (EEMAC) will hold a public meeting on February 26, 2015 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Commission’s Washington, D.C. headquarters at 1155 21st Street, NW, Washington, DC 20581.
CFTC Commissioner J. Christopher Giancarlo is the sponsor of this advisory committee.
The meeting will focus on the Commission’s proposed rules seeking to implement position limits and how these proposals will impact energy and environmental markets. See Aggregation of Positions, 78 Fed. Reg. 68946 (Nov. 15, 2013); and Position Limits for Derivatives, 78 Fed. Reg. 75680 (Dec. 12, 2013). A complete agenda will be available prior to the February 26 meeting.
