External Meetings: Meeting with European Industry Representatives

The industry representatives discussed how the rules would apply to foreign entities that may or may not be registered as swap dealers.  They discussed whether the CFTC would rely on foreign regulators of internal business conduct standards.  Additionally, they encouraged harmonized data reporting standards in order to simplify back-office work.
