December 13, 2005: Judge Brody sets a trial date in CFTC v. Worldwide Commodity for June 5, 2006.
October 26, 2005: The Commission filed an amended complaint naming South Coast Commodities, Inc., as a successor corporation; Larry Kahn, vice-president of Worldwide Commodity as a controlling person; and Stuart Schwartz, a Worldwide Commodity broker, as defendants.
October 7, 2005: Judge James I. Cohn sentenced Bruce Crown to a term of one year and one day. (Click Here: Criminal Sentencing).
June 17, 2005: The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida filed a three count criminal information against Bruce N. Crown stemming from his futures-related activities. The U.S. Attorney’s Criminal Information charges Crown with making false statements to the United States Government and mail fraud.
