CFTC Voted on Proposed and Final Rules Today
Washington, DC — The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) voted on the following rules at an Open Commission meeting today:
By a unanimous vote, the Commission approved the Indemnification Final Rule (Amendments to the Swap Data Access Provisions of Part 49 and Certain Other Matters).
With a 2-1 vote, the Commission approved the Volcker Proposed Rule (Revisions to Prohibitions and Restrictions on Proprietary Trading and Certain Interests in, and Relationships With, Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds); and the De Minimis Exception Proposed Rule (Amendments to Swap Dealer Registration De Minimis Exception).
