CFTC Announces February 15, 2006 Hearing on Self-Regulation and Self-Regulatory Organizations in the U.S. Futures Industry
Washington, DC—The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, to discuss issues related to Self-Regulation and Self-Regulatory Organizations in the US Futures Industry. A copy of the hearing’s agenda may be found under Related Documents. The hearing will be held in the lobby-level Hearing Room at the Commission’s Headquarters, 1155 21st Street, NW, Washington, DC.

The viewpoints that most certainly will be heard during this hearing definitely will enhance the Commission’s decision-making as it nears completion of its study of self-regulation.”
