External Meetings: Teleconference
On April 13, 2017, CFTC staff participated in a teleconference with representatives from three swap data repositories (“SDRs”): DDR; CME; and ICE. These SDRs jointly submitted a comment letter in response to the Commission’s Notice of Proposed Rulemaking published on January 25, 2017 in the Federal Register. The Comment period for the Proposed Rule closed on March 27, 2017. Discussion at the meeting focused on the contents of the SDR comment letter. Staff sought clarification and amplification of comments made in the SDR comment letter.
