External Meetings: Meeting with Agrivisor

At the meeting, participants discussed the swap dealer definition and the impact on Agrivisor's business.  Agrivisor is a subsidiary of an agricultural cooperative that enters into swaps with the cooperative and its members in order to manage the risk of the cooperative's members.  Agrivisor does not itself handle physical commodities, but the cooperative of which it is a subsidiary does. Agrivisor described its particular organizational structure as unique within the industry.
