External Meetings: CFTC-SEC Consultation with MarkitSERV

The consultation was held at the CFTC's Washington, D.C. office. The participants discussed: (i) overview of MarkitSERV?s business operations; (ii) considerations for interpreting the SEF definition in the DFA; (iii) implications of the scope of SEF functionalities; (iv) matters for consideration regarding rulemaking; (v) business conduct standards; (vi) technical assistance to the SEC and CFTC; and (vii) regulatory reporting / public reporting.
