External Meetings: Meeting w/Government of Singapore Investment Corporation

The Chairman gave an overview of the legislation. Following that, the group discussed: i. New registration or reporting requirements, ii. Whether sovereign wealth funds would be designated within categories of financial institutions that require additional reporting requirements, have constraints on size (e.g., major swap participant designation), or additional margining or capital requriements, and iii. Whether additional oversight by regulatory authorities would be required of sovereign wealth funds, or areas of sovereign wealth fund investments in public securities.
